In the 1990s, a band named T-Reg blazed a path through the college circuit in the North West of England, made up of lifelong friendships and local musicians Harvey Lee, Jeff Singer and Jason Hartley-Smith.

Fast forward 20 years, and professional engagements in the music business have taken the T-Reg members on world tours with bands as diverse as Paradise Lost, an English gothic metal band regarded as the primary influence for the later gothic metal movement, to Manchester’s very own chart-toppers Herman’s Hermits.

With over 30 years of touring and recording experience with doom legends, ‘My Dying Bride’ and English new metallers ‘Kill II This’ T-Reg founder and drummer Jeff Singer has an extensive and decorated discography from his time with ‘Blaze’ (the solo band of ex Iron Maiden singer Blaze Bayley), ‘Paradise Lost’, ‘Soldierfield’ and now ‘My Dying Bride’. He has also toured the globe headlining, playing major festivals and sharing the stage worldwide with major acts such as ‘Megadeth’ and ‘Nightwish’.

These four celebrated musicians are now coming out of retirement and are ready to rock again as T-Reg, returning to the stage for a one-off party with a purpose. T-Reg’s first come-back gig will be an all-for-charity affair, resurrecting the tunes of the glam rock age. Expect a musical journey through all of the 70’s classics from T.Rex, Sweet, Slade, The Kinks, The Who and David Bowie.

Taking place on the 18th December 2021 at The Rebellion Club, Manchester, all profits for this party with a purpose will be split between the Music Venue Trust, which has helped venues stay in business during lockdown and Belisama’s Retreat, the North West’s woodland and riverside retreat for military veterans’ mental health.

As a British Army Bosnia veteran and PTSD survivor, T-Reg member Steve knows just how much help Belisama’s Retreat gives veterans suffering the physical and mental scars of war, while venue owner Jason knows only too well how challenging keeping music venues alive during lockdowns has been.
