If you are looking for ideas for somewhere to go this weekend, think no further than Ramsbottom.
This weekend sees the town’s annual Chocolate festival held across Bridge Street, Market Street, St Paul’s Church and Market Place, with more than sixty stalls selling chocolate themed produce.
New attractions for this year’s event include a family fun area in the gardens of St Paul’s, and an extended al fresco dining area in Silver Street.There will also be a demonstration from Lancashire Hawks and Owls on Saturday, and a display from food network Made in Lancashire.
The festival which runs from 10-5 on Saturday 12th and Sunday 13th won the Manchester Tourism award in 2012 for best small event.
