Gaucho Manchester begins an exciting new chapter as the restaurant unveils its newly redesigned interior in the heart of the city.
Marking more than 25 years in Manchester, thereopening celebrates the next evolution of the brand in a city that has been central to its story.
The newly transformed 205-cover space introduces a warm, contemporary design direction inspired by the landscapes, textures and spirit of Latin America. A timeless palette of earthy tones is layered with natural timber, rich marble, atmospheric lighting and refined finishes,creating an elegant and inviting new setting in the city. Bespoke design features and carefully curated details, unique to Gaucho, add character throughout, while brushed gold accents and signature forest green touches elevate the space with a distinctive sense of sophistication and identity.
Housed within one of Manchester’s most distinctive 19th-century former churches, the new design complements the original character of the building.
Restored architectural features,including the original church organ, remain central to the space while a mezzanine dining level offers elevated views across the restaurant below.
At the centre of the restaurant, a renewed open kitchen brings the theatre of the grill into view, creating a closer connection between guests and the craft behind every dish.
Curated by Culinary Director Anthony Ekizian, Gaucho’s menu brings together its renowned steaks with vibrant dishes inspired by the flavours of Latin America. Alongside prime cuts and the signature Churrasco, guests can enjoy King Prawn Sugo, Scallops with lemongrass, chilli and mango, Seabream with corn humita, and Flat Iron Chicken with macha and lime. Together, the menu celebrates bold flavours, exceptional ingredients and Gaucho’s passion for grill-led cooking.
The new 47-seat bar has been redesigned as a destination in its own right, where rich marble,warm timber and atmospheric lighting create an intimate setting for everything from pre-dinner drinks to late-night cocktails.
Alongside an extensive collection of Argentinian wines, the cocktail
menu oXers a playful Gaucho twist on much-loved classics, with highlights including the Margarita Picante, finished with a chimichurri salt rim; the Garrapiñada Rum Old Fashioned, inspired by the classic Argentine caramelised peanut treat; and the indulgent Tiramisu Espresso Martini, topped with tiramisu foam and cocoa. Together, the drinks collection celebrates craftsmanship, bold flavour and the vibrant spirit of Latin America.
For private dining and celebrations, Gaucho Manchester will introduce two dedicated spaces:
The Mendoza, seating up to 11 guests, and The Hive, accommodating up to 20 guests.
