Non-profit and social enterprise Eat Well MCR is to host an exciting fundraising banquet with dishes from Manchester’s best East Asian and Southeast Asian food producers.

Hello Oriental, the food hall at Circle Square will host the event as well as taking part in the opportunity to celebrate the very best cuisine of the region while raising funds for a worthy local cause. The dinner is raising funds for Eat Well MCR – the non-profit that provides chef made meals to people in need in Manchester.

Originally due to be held in September, the death of HRH meant the date was pushed back to November 30th. This has provided an opportunity to update the line up with even more special guest appearances.

Diners can expect platters of sushi and sashimi, next level dim sum, fresh zingy salads, umami-rich ramen, fiery aromatic curry and platters of fragrant rice with more dishes alongside, followed by a selection of desserts.

Manchester artist and occasional DJ Stan Chow is taking part and will be selecting music throughout the dinner and playing a selection of records from his personal collection.

Adding to the roster of restaurants taking part will be Luxury Chinese restaurant Tattu.

“It’s a fantastic opportunity to celebrate the food from across this region and showcase a small slice of what’s on offer in Manchester,” says Ricky Yip, co-owner of Hello Oriental.
