As The BRIT Awards arrives in the city, Forbici Manchester is marking the moment with a limited-edition special that celebrates British flavour through true Neapolitan craft.
Available now, the modern Neapolitan pizzeria has unveiled its Sticky Toffee Pudding Pizza, a thoughtful reimagining of one of Britain’s most loved desserts.
True to Forbici’s philosophy, the foundation is everything. The pizza begins with its signature slow-proved Biga dough, fermented for lightness, structure and depth of flavour. Once baked, it’s layered with rich, house-finished sticky toffee sauce and generous pieces of soft sticky toffee sponge. A scoop of stracciatella ice cream is added just before serving, gently melting into the warm base for a balanced finish of cream and caramel.
It’s a meeting of British comfort and Italian technique, familiar, but elevated through carefully sourced ingredients and time-honoured methods.
