Manchester’s First Street is about to get a new go-to hangout with the launch of 9INETY 6IX – a laid-back bar serving up pints, burgers, games, and live music, all in a space built for the city’s locals.

Taking over the former Simon Wood, Woods restaurant, 9INETY 6IX swaps fine dining for a relaxed vibe, where good food and good times come first. Think pool, darts, shuffleboard and air hockey, photo booth, stacked burgers, fried chicken, loaded fries, and drinks that won’t break the bank.

It’s not just about the games either – 9INETY 6IX will also host live music nights, open mic sessions, and DJs, making it one of the few spots in the city centre where you can play, eat, drink, and catch a gig under one roof.

And in true down-to-earth spirit, the bar will even keep its doors open on Christmas Eve – giving locals in the city centre a place to celebrate.

Andrew Flaherty Owner of 9INETY 6IX says:

“We wanted 9inety 6ix to feel like home – whether you’re grabbing a pint after work, playing games with your mates, or jumping on stage for open mic. It’s about creating a space that’s welcoming, unpretentious, and made for Manchester.”

The venue officially opens the first week of December, with a confirmed date coming soon – opening weekend celebrations featuring live DJs, drinks offers, and plenty of giveaways.
