With the nights drawing in and Halloween just around the corner, head to the Great Northern to make the most of the October half term.

With offers and events suitable for days out with family or evenings with your social bubble, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.

Shout it from the roof tops!

The Halloween in the City monsters are back and you can spot your first one here at Great Northern this Halloween. The giant inflatable creatures have become a real highlight in Manchester’s Halloween celebrations and you’ll see a tentacled monster reaching out across the Great Northern Square from 26th October to 1st November.

Head to the Odeon to enjoy one of the many blood curdling blockbusters currently screening, including the family friendly Maleficent: Mistress of Evil. Or leave the kids at home and be prepared to be scared out of your wits with spine chilling horrors like Saint Maud or Unhinged. With tickets starting at just £5, everyone can indulge in a spooky season scare.

For a trick or treat that the whole family will love, head to Alex’s Bakery for an afternoon tea, consisting of a spookily delicious assortment of savoury snacks and sweet treats. With three price tiers starting from £9.90 per person, it’s a no brainer!

Or why not treat yourselves to some award-winning chocolate from Dormouse, which recently won an International Chocolate Award for its Guara Estate 75% dark. It’s eerily good!

Or for an even more spooktacular treat, dine at Almost Famous, home to Manchester’s biggest and best burgers. Little ones can celebrate in style with the Home Alone cheeseburger, from the kids menu, topped with frazzles, mac and cheese and a strawberry pop tart for the ultimate Halloween feast.
