Christmas is the most wonderful time of the year and there’s no better place to celebrate the festivities than at Dakota Bar & Grill, with its intimate dining setting, impeccable service and brand-new Festive Menu, featuring the most exquisite seasonal dishes.
From Wednesday 2nd December, diners at the neighbourhood favourite, Dakota Grill, can
feast on the Festive Menu. Served daily from 12:00 – 21:30, the menu consists of three-
courses for £40 per person.
Choose from a selection of starters, mains and desserts, with options to suit all dietary
requirements. To start, select from Jerusalem Artichoke Soup with a parmesan scone,
Chicken Liver Parfait with fig & brioche, Argyll Smoked Salmon with crab & capers, and Goats Cheese with walnut and beetroot.
For the main course, Traditional Cumbrian Roast Turkey, exceptional quality locally
sourced meat with crispy, goose-fat potatoes, flavourful stuffing and all the trimmings. For
something different, indulge in the Slow Cooked Braised Short Rib of Beef or the Cod
Loin, wrapped in smoky pancetta and served with kale & celeriac; alternatively, the Pithivier – a puff pastry enclosed pie filled with beautifully married butternut & blue cheese filling – is guaranteed to delight.
You can’t miss dessert at Christmas, and Dakota have all the classics. A seasonal must –
Christmas Pudding with brandy custard; the Chocolate & Orange Delice topped with
Chantilly cream; or for a creamy, caramelised delight – Crème Brûlée with cinnamon
Dakota Grill will also be open for Christmas Day. Relax and unwind whilst you enjoy an
extra-special Christmas lunch with a Dakota twist, served from 12:00 – 15:30 for £95 per
Some additions to the Festive Menu include a starter of Langoustines with smoked
salmon, caper, shallot & cocktail sauce; and mains of Scottish Fillet of Beef Wellington
filled with mushroom duxelle and served with Parma ham and all the trimmings.
For seafood lovers, there’s buttery-soft Halibut with mussels, oyster & pancetta.
A tantalising Bakewell Pudding with almond ice cream, and Cheesecake with chocolate &
hazelnut, are welcome additions to the dessert menu.
Enter the New Year in style – Dakota Style! Book in for their spectacular New Year’s Eve
seven-course set menu, served from 18:00 for £95 per person.
Enjoy a Homemade Bread and Venetian Dip to start, followed by an Amuse Bouche and Scallops with américaine sauce & caviar. Refresh your taste buds with a palette cleanser of Pear & Vanilla Sorbet before the main course of Fillet of Beef, ox cheek, truffle and escargot.
Satisfy your sweet cravings with an Apple Mousse, apple terrine & caramel, and natural finish with a Selection of Cheeses, tea, coffee and petit fours.
