As we come out of what has been an intensely enjoyable late summer, with the reopening of many of our favourite places to eat, drink and celebrate, we are now able to look forward to the warm and familiar comforting allure of an Autumnal Manchester. A time where we take our dining back inside, and there’s no better way to do that than with the absolute classic of a Sunday Lunch menu.
Ducie Street Warehouse is proud to announce its new Sunday Lunch offering Sunday with Sides, a day of classic roast meats with vegetarian and vegan options available.
It launches with Manchester’s first (possibly the world’s first) Cauliflower Cheese Menu created by well-renowned chef and Sunday Lunch impresario – Andrew Green (of ex Lowry Hotel fame), lifting Ducie Street Warehouse Sunday’s head and shoulders above the rest.
The mouth-watering menu will launch on Sunday 26th September, served from 12.30-8.30pm and will offer dry-aged shorthorn beef sirloin, roast supreme of corn fed chicken, rosemary roasted leg of lamb, free-range gammon and a weekly changing vegan roast. All plated roasts are served with roast potatoes from Massey’s local Cheshire farm, homemade giant Yorkshire’s, seasonal veg and meat or vegan gravy.
A slice of Something for Everyone will be also be a menu option, giving those who find it hard to choose, a slice of each of the four meats with all the usual trimmings, and a ’Share Menu’, perfect for two people which includes Harissa spiced whole chicken, Miso glazed fish of the day, 800g Tomahawk of Cheshire beef or a whole roasted ‘Ras el Hanout’ cauliflower.
Sunday with Sides, has an impressive list of side dishes, the selection includes a classic vintage cheddar cauliflower cheese, truffle, bacon fizzles, blue cheese, macaroni or a totally vegan cauliflower cheese. Other sides feature, Cumbrian pigs-in-blankets, honey roasted heirloom carrots, minted sugar snaps and many more.
A menu of sides worth the visit alone, is complemented with live music and DJs until 9pm, presented by Manchester’s brightest new talents each Sunday with favourite board games available at the bar. Wash down any meal with the new Sunday Cocktails including the ‘house drink’ of Bellini, Espresso Martini and DSW Bloody Mary. Red Snapper, Breakfast Margarita, Ducie sangria Warehouse and Champagne Mimosa.
