Nigel Farage says Boris Johnson should ditch his deal with the European Union adding the general election is a chance to change course.

Launching the Brexit Party’s election campaign this morning,he told the audience that the Prime Minister’s deal was not Brexit and threatened to stand candidates in every single seat unless Johnson agreed to a pact.

The threat presents a huge vote splitting risk to the Tories in the South of England and to Labour in the North of England.

The Brexit leader said that”Everything from financial services to fisheries… would be tied to EU law” under the current deal

Nigel Farage said that the UK could use “Article 24” to negotiate a new trade agreement with the EU.

He says there will be local exceptions for MPs who are against the deal. Tories that renounce the deal will be allowed to run uncontested he told the audience.

A Tory source, replying to the announcement said

“A vote for Farage risks letting Corbyn into Downing Street via the back door – and the country spending 2020 having two referendums on Brexit and Scottish independence.  It will not get Brexit done – and it will create another gridlocked Parliament that doesn’t work.”
