Manchester locals looking for a fun, festive and FREE day out need look no further, as Deliveroo’s Christmas Sleigh makes a stop in the city.
Locals can expect free food from local vendors and other mystery goodies when they head to the teal Sleigh on December 14th.
Those in Manchester will be able to get their hands on free food from local restaurants Oowee Vegan and KBK. Menu highlights include KBK’s Chicken Thighs with Chilli & Lime, Oowee Vegan’s Mac and Cheese and Popcorn Chick’n.
Mancunians will also get the opportunity to take pictures with Santa and his sleigh and have their snaps printed out onto a polaroid style picture, perfect for families to put on the mantel shelf or turn into next year’s Christmas card.
Aisha Jefferson at Deliveroo said, “We want to bring the Christmas spirit to as many Brits as possible this year by giving them the ultimate gift; food! Our Deliveroo Christmas sleigh is doing just that as we’ll be handing out amazing free food from some of Manchester’s best restaurants, giving our goodies and gift bags, and you can also have your picture taken with Santa and the sleigh. We hope to see you on the 14th in Piccadilly Gardens.”
Deliveroo’s Christmas Sleigh will be treating locals in the following cities:
- Southampton – 8th December @ Westquay shopping centre
- Birmingham – 10th December @ Edgbaston Street
- Nottingham – 11th December @ Victoria Centre
- Manchester – 14th December @ Wellington Statue Piccadilly
- Glasgow – 16th December @ Argyle street
As the event is taking place outside, masks are not mandatory based on current government guidelines, however, the food delivery company is advising people to wear masks to help protect themselves and others.
