Bloom Café Manchester opened at the end of last year serving hand crafted CBD drinks and cakes is launching an all day brunch menu that also caters for the many vegans and vegetarians in Manchester.

The delicious breakfast and brunch favourites on the menu include eggs benedict which is made with Bloom’s very own signature hollandaise sauce, “The Blooming good breakfast” which is your classic full English with a few extras and not forgetting “The Blooming Vegan” which contains two vegan sausages, smoky carrot bacon rashers, tomato, garlic mushrooms, beans and toast.

Tim Lam the owner behind the new café believes that he spotted a niche in the market in this part of town, he said: “I noticed there was a need for a food offering with more vegan and vegetarian options on Deansgate.  Since opening Bloom Café in December our range of vegan cakes, alongside the CBD infused coffees, have proved to be very popular so when we developed our food menu we had this, often over looked, demographic in mind.  Over a quarter of the dishes on our new menu are vegan and over half are suitable for vegetarians.”

For anyone looking to get a breakfast on the go one of the best sellers is the decadent tropical house baked granola which incorporates goji berries, papaya and coconut flakes, layered in between fresh vegan Greek yoghurt topped with fresh fruit. For lunchtime there is the soup of the day which is home made on site and for those who just fancy a post retail therapy nibble side dishes include halloumi fries served with a home-made chilli mayo and Bloom’s oriental inspired salt and pepper wings.

The café has an upstairs seating area which seats up to 50 overlooking Deansgate. Tim Lam explains,

“We are hoping that alongside our CBD infused coffees and artisan loose-leaf teas the new menu will prove very popular indeed.  We’re looking forward to being able to welcome customers into our venue to try the food menu.   We have also put lots of safety measures in place to ensure our customers are as covid secure as they can be.

We hope to see more customers again now as Manchester continues to open back up again and people start returning back to the offices.”
