Twenty two year old Zak Eco will appear in court this morning charged with the murder of his eleven month old son who died after being found in the River Irwell In Radcliffe.
The boy who has since been formally identified as 11-month-old Zakari William Bennett-Eko died a short time later despite the best efforts of paramedics and specialist doctors.
He has been remanded in custody and will appear at Manchester Magistrates’ Court today.
