Indian street food guru, Bundobust, is ready to ignite the Christmas spirit with a range of seasonal specials available to enjoy right now and with bookings for the festive period available now, it’s the perfect time to get planning for a very Bundo Christmas.
The famous Sprout Bhajis have returned, and are back on the menu in style – bringing an iconic combination of Brussels sprouts, broccoli, onion, fennel and chilli, all served with a dollop of festival cranberry chutney.
Extra-hungry diners can even take their bhaji experience to the next level with a Sprout Bhaji Butty, featuring all of the above encased in a soft vegan brioche bun. One pound from every butty sold will go straight to a local charity.
The final savoury Christmas dish comes in the form of a Festive Curry, packed full of winter veggies including parsnips, French beans, and swede, and cooked in a warming tomatoey, coconutty sauce. Arriving with a pile of jeera rice and a flavourful mix of cinnamon, star anise and curry leaves, this is the hearty festive pick-me-up we all need.

No Christmas meal is complete without a sweet treat, and Bundo’s Christmas Kulfi is here to hit that spot, with a blend of nutmeg, cardamom, cinnamon and orange peel in ice cream form on a stick.

When it comes to festive cocktails, Bundobust’s Coconut Hot Toddy brings a warming mix of bourbon, coconut rum, cinnamon and lemon juice, while the Masala Chaas features brandy, Baileys and ginger liqueur shaken with iced vegan chai. On the non-alcoholic side, the Ginger Tom is the perfect tee-total tipple – comprising ginger ale, cranberry juice, apple, cinnamon, lime, and mint – all served in a champagne flute.

This Christmas also marks a very special moment for beer lovers at Bundo, as the street food stalwart welcomes in a selection of festive bottles from across Europe and the US – including the seminal Sierra Nevada Celebration. Make the most of the restaurant’s year-round 40% discount on takeaway brews, and enjoy seasonal specials such as Bundobust Brewery’s very own hoppy red ale, Lal Naak – a 5.5% classic American style red ale which makes its debut this winter.

Christmas bookings are now open at all four Bundobust venues, including for the first time at its brand new brewery site on Oxford Street in Manchester. Parties of eight or less can book online for the Manchester and Liverpool locations, but it’s six or less at the original Leeds restaurant.

Bigger parties should get in touch with their chosen venue directly – see below for the right details, and prepare to embrace the biggest Bundo Christmas yet!
