Michelin-starred chef, restaurateur and somewhat shouty television star Gordon Ramsay has officially announced the grand opening of Lucky Cat Manchester. This marks Ramsay’s first major opening in the city, further cementing the region’s reputation as a leading destination for food, drink, and entertainment.  Reservations are open for the 1st June debut, offering an unrivalled dining experience at the top of King Street.

The Manchester location will be the second Lucky Cat worldwide, capturing the essence of the original Mayfair venue and promising a dining experience like no other.

The new restaurant is situated at the top of King Street within an impressive Art Deco building, alongside Manchester’s iconic Gotham Hotel and opposite Rosso and Grand Pacific. The restaurant spans three floors and features opulent dining vaults as well as the main restaurant, extensive private dining spaces and private bars.

Lucky Cat fuses the vibrant atmosphere of 1930s Tokyo kissas and drinking dens. Diners can expect the ultimate dining experience, complete with world class wine and cocktails and a live soundtrack provided by DJs. “Lucky Cat Mayfair is the stuff of legends and the absolute destination on the London scene, as we expand globally, we’re thrilled to be transporting this magic to Manchester…”, says a spokesperson from Lucky Cat team

Lucky Cat Manchester promises to immerse guests in the extraordinary culinary narrative from Gordon Ramsay and Lucky Cat Executive Head Chef Andre Camilo who have crafted each dish with sharing in mind.

Guests can dine on dishes such as black cod, sirloin weeping tiger and the legendary Lucky Cat Duck Bao.  “We’ve taken the very best of our Mayfair menu heroes and added incredible new dishes to make this a dining experience like no other,” says Chef Andre.  The gastronomic journey continues onward to the ocean’s depths with a menu of sushi and raw dishes, from tuna tartar to dragon rolls.

An innovative cocktail list includes the one-of-a-kind Lucky Negroni, where the gin in your drink is determined by a game of chance. Guests are offered three dice hidden inside a mysterious box, and the numbers rolled will unlock the perfect combination of gins, vermouths, and bitters destined for your drink. With 216 possible combinations, your Lucky Negroni is a personalised experience, crafted by fate.

Gordon Ramsay shares his unbridled enthusiasm for the project, saying: “I’ve toured and worked in much of Asia over the years, and the culture, the flavours, and the incredible cooking truly inspire me.

“Manchester is renowned for its thriving culinary landscape, and I’m thrilled to be a part of it. We’re fired up to build on the phenomenal success of our Mayfair restaurant and bring something truly exceptional to the people of Manchester this Summer. I can’t wait for Lucky Cat to make its mark in this fantastic city!”

Don’t miss the chance to be among the first to experience Manchester’s new world-class dining destination. Bookings can be made on the Lucky Cat website or by calling 0161 424 9150 for restaurant and group reservations or 0207 5921373 for private dining and event enquiries.
