A spectacular selection of new releases are now showing at Vue across the North West, with more highly-anticipated films lined up in the coming weeks.

Family-friendly big screen content is in full force this summer, giving children and adults alike plenty of escapes over the holidays. Children can enjoy Spirit Untamed; the next chapter in the beloved story from Dreamworks Animation. This epic adventure follows a headstrong girl who discovers a kindred spirit when she meets a wild horse.

The long-awaited adventure comedy Jungle Cruise is finally here and features a star-
studded cast, including Dwayne Johnson and Emily Blunt. The new film is based on
Disneyland’s theme park ride, where a small riverboat takes a group of travellers through a
jungle filled with dangerous animals but with a supernatural element.

From Friday 13 August, families can get lost in the world of Adventure City, as everyone’s
favourite heroic pups arrive for their first big screen adventure – Paw Patrol: The Movie.
When their biggest rival, Humdinger, becomes Mayor of nearby Adventure City and starts
wreaking havoc, Ryder and the team kick into high gear to face the challenge head on.

For those after a dramatic thriller, Matt Damon film Stillwater arrives at Vue from Friday 13
August. Damon plays unemployed roughneck Bill Baker who travels to visit his estranged
daughter, imprisoned for a murder she claims she did not commit. Bill is eager to regain his
daughters trust and takes matters into his own hands.

Also showing from 13 August is historic drama, The Courier. Based on an incredible true
story, Benedict Cumberbatch stars as Greville Wynne, a British businessman who was
recruited by the Secret Intelligence Service. In the shadow of the Cold War, the spy is sent
on a mission to deliver messages to secret agent Oleg Penkovsky about world safety.
