Beef and whiskey paired together is a match made in heaven, seeing the flavour notes of beef perfectly complimenting the smoky flavours of whiskey.
With Burns Night on the horizon, an annual celebration of the life and works of the Scottish poet, Robert Burns, Peru Perdu will showcase a beef and whiskey pairing like no other, all with a touch of Peruvian flair.
The centrepiece of any Burns Night is the traditional supper, with Peru Perdu offering a Burns Night special, the Steak & Whiskey sampler for two to share for £120, a combined 1kg of Uruguayan wet-aged beef served in four cuts, paired with whiskies.
Pairings include tapa paired with Jim Bean Black, medallion paired with Japanese Toki, fillet paired with Macallan and picanha paired with Laphroaig.
The Steak and Whiskey sampler will be available for Burns Night on the 25th January, subject to availability.
