One of Manchester’s most stylish, yet understated restaurants, Albatross & Arnold,have introduced a heavenly new menu.

Best known for its British modern dining menu and sophisticated sharing plates, the restaurant is situated in Manchester’s fashionable Spinningfields and, since launching in December 2017,has fast become a favourite

amongst discerning foodies from both near and far.Albatross & Arnold is astand-alone restaurant located on the first floor of exclusive, in-door golf club, The Range, and is independently owned by Andrew McLoughney.

Renowned for their exceptionally high standards, the talented kitchen team and new menu development is overseen by esteemed executive chef consultant, Curtis Stewart.Age 32 and originally from Bury in Greater Manchester, he has already had an award winning career, working at a variety of high profile venues around the South of England.

Finally back in Manchester with his young family, Curtis said:“Naturally our aim is to produce consistently outstanding food, so our focus is on creating small, seasonal sharing plates enabling everyone to have the opportunity to explore a range of dishes and flavours, or to order one or two dishes to enjoy individually.We are passionate about supporting other independents and largely use regional suppliers-always of the very best quality.We also ensure that our menu offers a variety of delicious options to suit ever requirement so nobody will miss out!

’Dishes from the current menu include: chorizo & saffron croquette with red pepper emulsion; hay smoked salt marsh lamb rump, Jerusalem artichoke and rosemary oil); whole roasted bay monkfish tail, brown chicken butter sauce with a lemongrass and citrus dressing; and BBQ floret, cauliflower veloute, parmesan and truffle.

Albatross & Arnold’s food menu is perfectly complicated by an incredible wine list, that includes twenty by-the-glass options and some rare finds such as 2014 Rancho Zabaco Sonoma Heritage Zinfandel and FMCChenin Blanc.

A wide range of exclusive whiskies, cognacs and cocktails are also available, all expertly prepared by highly trained mixologists. The restaurant’s elegant interior has been intentionally designed with only 40 covers so that every guestreceives a high level of service in a refined and relaxed environment.
