Foodies behold. A new pop-up dining space is coming to the Great Northern this summer with weekly takeovers from different local restaurants.
The pop-up restaurant on the square will provide a COVID-secure space for local businesses that are restricted with limited outdoor dining space. The weekly four day takeovers will allow these restaurants to serve up their delicious cuisine right in the heart of Manchester.
With a jam-packed schedule already, expect to see tapas from Evuna, Italian delights from Salvis, plus South Manny Flavaz courtesy of Impossible, throughout August.
The new dining experience will be open from 17:00 until 21:00 Thursday, and 12:00 until 21:00 Friday to Sunday, with Evuna kicking off the opening week from this Thursday.
No need to book, simply pop down and enjoy some tasty tapas outdoors with your household.
All diners will experience table service to reduce close contact and ensure social distancing to kept at all times.
And who does not love an ice-cold beer in the sun?
The pop-up restaurant will also include its very own Estrella Damm, the premium lager of Barcelona, bar for diners that want to accompany their food with a beer, or two.
“Housing so many brilliant bars and restaurants here at the Great Northern we really want to do what we can to help the hospitality business get back on its feet. A lot of restaurants don’t have the luxury of outdoor seating, so we’ve created an outdoor dining space that can hold 50 diners in the heart of Manchester.”
