Lancashire’s official visitor guide is now available to order or view online at visitlancashire.com inviting visitors to visit, stay, discover and explore the superb choice of quality attractions, accommodation, heritage and culture that awaits them in 2015.
The new-look, 136 page guide is now pocket-sized, making it easy to take on your travels around Lancashire and is packed full of ideas, useful itineraries, places to stay, restaurants and hundreds of attractions and events to entice curious new-comers or returning fans to the county ‘where life feels good’.
The guide opens with a snapshot of some of this year’s highlights including: celebrating the 40th Anniversary of WWT Martin Mere Wetland Centre, one of the country’s leading nature reserves; the opening of the new £2million Red Arrows Sky Force Ride (spring 2015) at Blackpool Pleasure Beach, inspired by the world famous aerial team and promising thrills in the sky:
