A 70 year old cyclist remains in hospital with serious and possibly life threatening injuries after being hit by a car in Little Hulton yesterday afternoon
A 65-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving after the incident on Manchester Road with the collision pushing the cyclist into a parked car
Police are appealing for witnesses and CCTV or door cam footage of the incident which took place around 3.15pm
