A man has been bailed to appear in court later this month following the incident at the weekend when a five year old boy was hit by a car in Salford
Gavin Steven Higgins aged 33 of no fixed address has been charged with driving without insurance, driving otherwise than in accordance with a licence and aggravated vehicle taking.
He will appear before Salford and Manchester Magistrates’ on 23 October.
The Kia Cee’d was travelling on Stern Avenue in Ordsall when it collided with a five-year-old boy on Saturday evening.
The boy was taken to hospital where he remains in a stable condition.
