A man will appear in court in Manchester tomorrow charged with attempted rape, robbery, assault and possession of a bladed article in a public place.
Thirty-two-year-old Stephen David Hastie of no fixed address is charged after woman in her 50s was assaulted by a man armed with a knife whilst walking her dog along the Rochdale canal on Monday evening.
