A man from Merseyside has been charged with murder.
Jordan Short aged of Rushey Hey Road, Kirkby, has been charged with the murder of 34-year-old Steven James McMyler. He has been remanded in custody and will appear at Wigan Magistrates’ Court today.
Three men – aged 30, 19 and 18 – were arrested on suspicion of murder and released under investigation.
A 19-year-old man and a 13-year-old boy have since been arrested on suspicion of murder. The boy remains in custody for questioning.
