A woman in her 50s is in hospital with head and leg injuries where she remains in a critical condition after being hit by a car in Moston yesterday.
The accident happened on Moston Lane near the junction with Bute Street around 8.25, the women was hit by a Vauxhall Vivaro.
An investigation is underway and officers are appealing for witnesses and dashcam footage.
No arrests have been made.
Police Constable Phil Drummond, of GMP’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit, said: “First and foremost, I’d like to extend my thoughts to the woman as she remains in hospital.
“We are investigating the circumstances of the collision and are appealing for witnesses or dash cam footage.
“If you were in the area at the time and have information, please contact us as soon as possible.”
