A 90 year old woman has died from her injuries six days after she was hit by a car in Failsworth
The incident happened on Albert Street West, Failsworth on Wednesday 7 January around 3pm that day when she was struck by a reversing vehicle. She was taken to hospital in a serious condition, where she sadly later died from her injuries on 13 January.
A man, aged 37, who was arrested on suspicion of driving offences has since been released on police bail.
As officers progress their investigation, GMP’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit (SCIU) are continuing to appeal for information as they continue with their work.
This includes anyone who believes they saw the vehicle driving before the collision, witnessed the incident itself, or have dashcam footage or CCTV of the incident.
