Queens of Pop with Duncan Wallis – Friday 9th November

It’s getting hot in here! On Friday 9th November, The Pen and Pencil will be celebrating all things female as they host Queens of Pop with DJ Duncan Wallis. Expect music from Beyonce, Britney, Xtina, Whitney and more as they give it up for the woman.

Friday 9th November, 8pm – 2am. Entry is free.

Bottomless Brunch – Saturday 24th November

For those who may be a little more serious about their first meal of the day, The Pen and Pencil are serving up their Bottomless Brunch for those who just can’t decide which delicious dish to eat first. With a grand total of seven dishes on offer, as well as five breakfast drinks to choose from, the Bottomless Brunch is sure to be a game changer for any self professed breakfast connoisseurs. Options include Steak and Eggs, Breakfast Hash and American Style Pancakes, of course not forgetting all the breakfast classics too! Diners are well and truly spoilt for choice. Bookings for the Bottomless Brunch must be made in advance!

Priced at £40 per person, and runs on the last Saturday of each month from 10am.


Melvo Baptiste – Saturday 1st December

The Pen & Pencil are kicking off their month of festivities as they mean to go on as they welcome back Melvo Baptiste of Glitterbox on Saturday 1st December.

In 2017, Melvo was invited to present Glitterbox radio show which is now syndicated on over 40 stations globally and regularly frequents iTunes UK’s #1 slot for podcasts, becoming the ‘voice’ of Glitterbox. With support from A Deeper Groove, expect deep & soulful house tunes, disco, rare groove, and golden era soul.

Saturday 1st December, 8pm – 2am. Entry is free.

Christmas Bottomless Brunch – Sunday 16th December

This December The Pen & Pencil will be hosting a whole day of Christmas indulgence as they host not just one, but two festive bottomless brunch specials on Sunday 16th December. The festive feasting begins at 10am, when the first bottomless brunch session begins. Brunchers will then have three hours to demolish as much of the seven breakfast dishes including Steak and Eggs, Breakfast Hash and American Style Pancakes, as they desire, all washed down with prosecco, mimosas, or breakfast cocktails.

For those who don’t plan on making it out of bed pre-midday, there will be a special second sitting at 2pm, with another three hours of bottomless food and drink, this time paired with a special guest DJ turning this brunch disco.

Bottomless brunch is £40 pp and must be booked in advance, there will be two sittings for the bottomless brunch as a one-off for Christmas (10am for the normal bottomless brunch & 2pm for the disco sitting) –

The Pen & Pencil Christmas Party – Saturday 22nd December

Work is over so now it’s time to relax, have some fun and let The Pen & Pencil plan a Christmas party that will knock all those festive socks off. Head to The Pen and Pencil on Sat 22nd December for a few boozy tipples and party the night away.

British electronic music mogul Sally Rodgers (A Man Called Adam) will be headlining, with support from A Deeper Groove. Expect Soul, Funk, Disco, House, and Party Vibes all night long.

Dance the night away, right into 2019 with The Pen & Pencil’s NYE bash with DJ Sam Flanagan. Expect the best soundtracks from the year, cocktail giveaways and dancing ‘til the early hours.
