The team behind one of Manchester’s most iconic streets has announced the return of its popular Summer campaign after a successful launch last year. The King Street Wine Mile brings together the finest wining and dining establishments on the street to offer a free glass of wine every Wednesday at selected restaurants along the street, with no strings attached.

Launching this year on Wednesday 6th August, the campaign will see fan favourite restaurants such as Tast Catala and Lucky Cat return as well as the addition of new venues for this year including Flight Club, All Bar One, San Carlo Cicchetti, Arcane, and Franco Manca.

The concept, which requires no sign-ups, allows customers to also pick up a free scorecard at one of the wine stops to score and rank their chosen wine as they meander down the street.

Holly Witcomb, Associate Director at DTZ Investors, said: “After a very successful launch last year, we’re pleased to be bringing back the King Street Wine Mile for a second year. The initial reception was positive across customers and venues, which we hope to replicate again with a range of new restaurants now on board.

“As King Street continues to thrive year on year with new openings, pop-up shops, and increasing footfall, we’re looking forward to delivering even more initiatives that get the visitors to Manchester city centre excited about what’s on offer here.”

When making a reservation for any of the selected Wine Mile restaurants, simply quote ‘WINEMILE’. The offer officially closes on Wednesday 24th September.
