DNA VR has announced that it will be opening a new venue in Manchester in March 2023. Providing a unique entertainment experience, DNA VR enables visitors to dive into unimaginable virtual worlds spanning horror, fantasy and music.

From surviving a zombie apocalypse, to traveling to the pyramids in Egypt or fighting off dragons, DNA VR has a game experience that everyone will enjoy. DNA VR is a social and active experience which first opened in July 2017 in a small basement in Camden as London’s first and largest virtual reality arcade. The business grew quickly via word of mouth from a very engaged audience. As the company evolved however, one thing was left unchanged – the focus on the customer experience and the social aspect. In 2019 and 2020 DNA VR received two Tripadvisor Travellers’ Choice Awards and in 2020 DNA VR expanded, opening two new venues in Hammersmith and Battersea Power Station.

Following the reopening of the leisure sector nationwide in 2021, DNA VR grew its network and oversaw successful partnerships with the likes of Vertigo Games, KOBOX and Thursday and won Tripadvisor Travellers’ Choice Award in 2022. The business has now begun its expansion outside of London, with its Manchester venue set to open in 2023.

Games at the new Manchester venue solving an escape room, exploring the depths of the deep blue ocean or even saving the Earth from an intergalactic disaster. Up to 15 people can be plugged into the VR pods and explore new worlds including Skyfront VRRagnarokElven Assassin and Arizona Sunshine. While the ‘Free Roam’ arcade offers longer-form escape rooms, explorative experiences and horror game modes for up to four players, such as Hospital Of HorrorSpace Station Tiberia and Depths Of Osiris.

Whether craving horror or wanting to test survival skills against zombies, DNA VR is the ultimate day out in the city or party venue, with countless virtual experiences and escape rooms to choose from. Perfect for family day trips, evenings out with friends; corporate parties, and even date nights, the venues have been enjoyed by a host of famous faces including Olivia and Alex Bowen, Idris Elba, KSI and Hollywood royalty, Chris Hemsworth (and his kids).

For those requiring a little Dutch courage prior to taking on a horde of zombies, DNA VR Manchester will be fully equipped with a minibar, serving an array of drinks in the beautifully decorated and futuristic foyer. The venue is conveniently located in Manchester City Centre, only a 15-minute walk away from Manchester Piccadilly Station.
