The QSR chain Chopstix is set to launch a Pan-Asian noodle bar in The Trafford Centre next month, further strengthening the Centre’s current dining offering prior to lockdown easing.

The Chopstix brand, which has over 60 outlets across the country, will open in the 750 sq. ft. adjacent to Burger King, in April, on a ten-year lease.

The launch forms part of the brand’s wider nationwide expansion, which has seen 5 outlets opened in the past year alone.

Chopstix’s founding partners Sam Elia and Menashe Sadik launched their first restaurant over 20 years ago, born out of a passion for food and providing high-quality, good value Pan-Asian food on the go.

The outlet will join other eateries in The Orient – one of Europe’s largest food courts – providing deliveries and click and collect services until normal service is able to resume, anticipated for mid-May.

The brand’s confident approach in expansion over the past few years has seen it cement itself as one of the UK’s leading and fastest growing Asian QSR brands.

Nick Williams, Senior Director – CBRE, The Trafford Centre’s Asset Manager, said, “Chopstix joining the Centre’s mix of eateries in The Orient will be a really exciting addition to spice up our offering this year.

As one of the UK’s most popular retail and leisure destinations, The Trafford Centre has continued to enhance our vibrant mix of eateries available for our customers, with other recent launches including Archies and Slim Chickens also reflecting consumer demands and creating opportunities for brands to reach a wider audience.”

Across the retail and F&B categories, we’ve seen some superb additions to the Centre’s line up over the last year from brands both big and small. We are looking forward to being fully open again and to welcoming our customers back to The Trafford Centre so they can see the new openings for themselves.”

Commenting on the opening, Jon Lake, Managing Director from Chopstix, commented, “This is a really exciting opening for us, we’ve always dreamed of having a store at the Trafford Centre and to see it happening is just incredible. Lockdown has been hard for us all, but we hope that customers new and old can click their sticks and delight in our quick and tasty offering.”
