The biggest game in domestic cricket returns to Old Trafford on July 17 as Lancashire Lightning go head-to-head with Yorkshire Vikings.

The two old rivals have enjoyed some epic battles in the past, and their latest meeting promises to be another action-packed affair.

Lightning have a decent track record in the competition, having reached three finals and recording a victory in 2015.

They progressed to the semi-finals last year but were defeated by Nottinghamshire Outlaws and will be eager to go one better this time around.

The Greater Manchester Marathon is staged on the flattest course in the UK, making it ideal for anyone who wants to smash their personal best time.

The route is yet to be confirmed, although it is likely to start under the White City Arch and continue to offer its popular finish running past Trafford Town Hall and Lancashire Cricket Club.

With Mancunians coming out in their thousands to cheer the competitors along, this is an event that is not to be missed.
