As Valentine’s Day fast approaches, The White Hart at Lydgate has created an exclusive tasting menu filled with a host of new dishes, perfect to enjoy on February 14th.
Located in the picturesque village of Lydgate, close to Saddleworth, the award-winning pub has three dining areas: The Brasserie Barn Room, The Brasserie Old Tap Room and The Brasserie Dining Room, which all serve an extensive menu that can be enjoyed across the pub.
The exclusive Valentine’s Day Menu features five luxurious courses, including:
– Beef, onion and citrus
– Cod, cauliflower, goats’ cheese and herbs
– Pork belly, fillet, quince and broccoli
– Passionfruit hot souffle with bitter chocolate
– Cheese, apple jelly and mustard
The White Hart also serves a fabulous range of refreshments from craft beers and cask ales to an extensive wine list to suit all tastes and budgets, from a bottle at £24.50 up to rare wines at £2,450.
The wine cellar also includes a fine wine list with wines dating back to the 70’s such as Petrus from Pomerol and Sassicaia from Tuscany and the world’s most famous dessert wine, Château d’Yquem.
