The Midland Hotel’s Tea Room has been recognised by Tripadvisor as a 2023 Travelers’ Choice award winner. The coveted award celebrates businesses that have consistently received great traveler reviews on Tripadvisor over the last 12 months, placing these winners among the 10% of all listings on Tripadvisor globally.
Afternoon Tea has been a staple at The Midland Hotel since its opening in 1903, with The Tea Room the venue of choice for many special celebrations, with the team preparing around 30 special celebratory plates a week – including a recent 100th birthday celebration.
The Afternoon Tea offering includes a range of menus, from Traditional Afternoon Tea to Royal Afternoon Tea (including a glass of Champagne), Vegetarian Afternoon Tea, Vegan Afternoon Tea, Gluten Free Afternoon Tea and Children’s Afternoon Tea.
All the Tea Room’s cakes, scones and sandwiches are made in-house by the hotel’s Patisserie team, and guests can choose from 10 loose leaf tea varieties, including three of The Midland’s own house blends.
