For one day only the Knights of Warwick Castle have left the castle to re-enact the War of the Roses live on CBBC Blue Peter.
The piazza of MediaCityUK is being transformed into a traditional jousting arena and an audience of children will pledge their alliance to either the House of York or the House of Lancaster and watch the Knights’ duel for glory.
This is the first time Knights have left Warwick Castle to host an outside broadcast re-enactment of the War of the Roses.
Not to be left out the Blue Peter presenters, Lindsey, Radzi and Barney, will try their hand at sword fighting skills, horse-back jousting and learn all about the history of the War of the Roses.
The show will broadcast live on the CBBC channel at 5pm on Thursday 28th June 2017.
