If you want to have a night out in Manchester, but you want to try something a little different, then this is the guide for you. Here you will find regular sources of entertainment in the local area, so you can look forward to making big plans.

Unique Events You Can Attend in Manchester

Some of the more unique events you can attend in Manchester include the Penitentiary. This is a quirky and immersive experience that allows you to dress up in an orange jumpsuit while trying to evade the guards. The experience starts in mid-December, but there are various dates you can attend, usually being held on a Saturday. You can pick up tickets from £40, but you can pay up to £65 depending on the type of experience you are looking for.

If you want something a little more hands-on, you can take the Dough-it Yourself Masterclass. Pizza Pilgrims on Deansgate are teaching you how to get stuck into cooking, with the process of explaining how to use a pizza oven properly, how to shape your dough, ensuring your toppings are balanced, and more. You will also be taught how to make sweet pizza, including the Nutella ring dessert. Prices start from £50, but it’s certainly a unique way to spend your Saturday night.

Similarly, the Big Manchester Bake will have you and a friend competing against others to come out on top as the baking champion of your 90-minute session.

If music is more your thing, Deptford Northern Soul Club is hosting regular Saturday experiences with live trumpets, vocals, and drums. The events run until late, but give you the chance to try something a little different. The event is held on the third Saturday of each month.

Looking Beyond Manchester Entertainment

If, however, you’re looking to have some cosy Saturday nights in during the colder winter period, then you can also look beyond Manchester to the internet. Netflix allows you to take out a streaming package for just £5.99, and you can also get a free trial of Amazon Prime right now, which gives you access to a whole catalog of content. If you’d prefer a gaming session, it’s possible to claim bingo free spins to get players started. This gives an allowance of 100 free spins, alongside a £50 bingo bonus. Bonuses like this allow users to play for longer and try out different game types so they can assess which ones they prefer.

It’s also possible for you to stream live performances online, with new shows announced all the time. You will have to buy a virtual ticket for performances like this, but they are usually very affordable and give you the chance to experience live music without leaving the house.

With so many options available and with Manchester being such a hub for entertainment, it’s not surprising to see that there’s a lot for you to take part in. Whether you want to try something new or experience some live music, you don’t have to go far to see what’s on, and what you can do to try and make the most out of your weekends.
