The brand new heavies by deans chalkleys

Get ready for a weekend of amazing live entertainment at the Tatton Park Pop Up Festival! This weekend, the stage will come alive with the music of ABBA, Kidchella Festival and an in-demand performance from The Brand New Heavies.

The weekend’s performances kick off on Friday (16th July) with ABBA MANIA. Direct from London’s West End, the world’s number one ABBA tribute act will have you dancing all night and singing your heart out. Their performance is a two-hour long recreation of ABBA’s last ever concert, featuring all the classics you know and love.

Then on Saturday (17th July) Kidchella is the only place to be. The ultimate kids’ party featuring music from Diva Mix and Ariana Live among others. Styled on the world-famous Coachella festival, this kids’ version includes face painting and glitter bars, roaming stilt walkers and audience entertainers as well as two hours of live music.

That evening, the stage is handed over to The Brand New Heavies. One of the most successful acid jazz/UK funk groups of all time, The Brand New Heavies are behind hits including Midnight At The Oasis and Dream On Dreamer. Centered around songwriters/multi-instrumentalists Simon Bartholomew and Andrew Levy, the core members of the group since its founding, the group will be performing with Angela Ricci as lead vocalist.

Simon Bartholomew said: “We’ve done a couple of shows since lockdown ended and the energy has been amazing. It feels good to be free to boogie again! Tatton Park is something we’re really looking forward to as it’s safe and funky with gorgeous surroundings and we can’t wait to party with you all!”
