Cheshire’s Ashley Hall will this summer play host to a new series of events – The Tatton Social.

Launching on 19th July, Tatton Estate is inviting families to enjoy an afternoon of entertainment with a selection of food trucks, drinks vans, and stunning countryside walks.

The Tatton Social is set to become a firm fixture in the region’s summer social calendar as the landmark estate opens its doors for the first time to the public.

Staged at the picturesque Ashley Hall, between Hale and Ashley, the event will be repeated each Sunday throughout the summer season.

Managing Director of Tatton Group, Henry Brooks, said: “We are opening the grounds of Ashley Hall to welcome guests and we look forward to them enjoying the beautiful countryside with their family and friends in a socially distanced fashion. Whilst pubs and restaurants are now reopening, The Tatton Social offers a fresh-air alternative – making use of our wonderful, wide-open space to ensure there’s no risk of overcrowding.

“We’ll have a brilliant selection of unique, high-quality food trucks, beverage vans and fairground rides – catering for all ages – and we hope it gives our guests something to look forward to each week, giving them a chance to make great new memories during a year that’s been somewhat restrictive.”

Visitors will be able to brunch, lunch or enjoy afternoon tea from an eclectic mix of traders, including fish and chips vans, a burger van, a pizza truck, a coffee station and a double decker drinks bus serving a selection of cocktails and soft drinks. Guests will also be able to take a spin on the dodgems, have their fortunes told, and explore scenic walks across the estate which have been specifically mapped out for the event.

Safe-guarding measures have been put in place across the site in line with government advice, including socially distanced queuing systems, hand sanitiser stations, 2m distanced seating, and a cap on the number of guests entering the grounds throughout.

The event will take place at Ashley Hall, Ashley Road, Ashley, WA14 3QA. Entry is free and car parking is charged at £5 per car.
