SIS4ERS DISTILLERY is launching its first rum and its hitting supermarket shelves this March.
Four Sisters Spiced Rum is a perfect blend of Caribbean inspired rum crafted with spices and warmed with vanilla and caramel.
The delicious dark rum can be enjoyed neat or over ice, mixed with cola or ginger beer.
A new direction for the distillery, the rum bottle design takes inspiration by Amphitrite, the Goddess of the Sea, the dark-eyed mythological queen who rules the ocean.
Hand-crafted in the SIS4ERS Salford distillery, the spiced rum is available in a 70cl bottle, 37.5% vol – RRP £30.00. The rum can be purchased on the SIS4ERS DISTILLERY web shop or in Booths Supermarket stores.
The UK has experienced a big increase in competition and new product launches when it comes to rum, with shoppers wanting to explore a variety of new flavours. In 2006 there were 50 rum brands in the UK, today there are nearly 200 – with people looking for new innovative flavours, rum is set to be the biggest drink trend of 2021.
Lucy McAvoy, Sales and Marketing Director for SIS4ERS DISTILLERY said, “We are hugely excited to launch our Spiced Rum. We have worked meticulously to craft the perfect balance of spices and flavour, to ensure our first rum on shelf is unique and memorable.
Rum is often associated with the sea, and so we chose to add Amphitrite to the heart of our brand design. We wanted to add a feminine touch, a symbol of female strength to a drink that can often feel quite masculine.”
The new line will be available in Booths Supermarkets and via the SIS4ERS webshop.
Born and bred in the heart of Salford, ‘McAvoy sisters’ Kerry Collins, Hayley Robinson, Kate Haslam, and Lucy McAvoy first launched SIS4ERS Distillery in 2018.
Today the gin makers produce a range of six delicious, flavoured gins. The distillery, which is also an event space, is currently hosting online gin tours and tastings, while restrictions keep its doors closed, but the SIS4ERS plan to re-open in May 2021.
