Selling an impressive range of imported food products which aren’t otherwise available in the UK, the new eatery also boasts an in-house cafe, offering customers a range of hot and cold beverages as well as a selection of Portuguese sweet treats.
An independent and family owned business the Brazilian meat restaurant truly has something for everyone, whether it be high quality, fresh meat, Portuguese desserts, fresh juice and coffee or Brazilian condiments.
With an estimated 5000 people living in Salford of Portuguese and Brazilian descent, The Meat House was created as a response for the increasing demand for food and meat products from this region. Moreover, with the 50th Anniversary of Salford Shopping Centre almost here, businesses which celebrate the diversity of Salford are welcomed.
The popularity of Portuguese food is also on the rise, with numerous Portuguese restaurants popping up across the UK. The Meat House brings this trend to Salford, whilst increasing the presence of the Portuguese community within the city.
Owner, Christian Estevam, of The Meat House, said, “Salford was the perfect place to situate The Meat House due to the large Portuguese community. As well as having a butchers and cafe in store, our speciality is BBQ meats and we’re thrilled to also stock a range of Portuguese and Brazilian food items.”
