Salford Shopping Centre presents ‘Salford’s Superhero Summer’, a packed programme of free summer activities, which will be running every Friday between 11am and 4pm, between the 5th to the 26th of August.
Whether it be superheros roaming the centre, face painters transforming locals or craft champions running creative workshops, there truly is something for everyone.
Keeping children busy during the summer months can be tricky (and expensive!) for parents. However Salford Shopping Centre is hoping that the Superhero Summer will help parents keep their children entertained, showing the role Salford Shopping Centre has within the local Salford community.
The itinerary kicks off on Friday the 5th of August, with Spiderman himself swinging by to meet and greet, ready to spread the message: “we are all destined for greatness”. Spiderman will also be available to pose for spidey selfies… so get your camera ready!
Superfans can take it up a notch, with uber-realistic face painting available on Friday the 12th of August. A team of super-artists will be at hand, transforming mini shoppers into their favourite characters.
Need some accessories to match? On Friday the 19th of August, a craft workshop will be in full swing, helping little ones create their own capes.
Finally on Friday the 26th of August, caped crusader will be at the shopping centre to meet fans. Known for tackling crimes, Batman will be there to fistbump and take some aware selfies. Who knows? You might spot a Batmobile in weeks to come!
