We can’t all go to Spain this summer – but on Saturday June 25th Spain comes to Deansgate in the form of an Open Day

We can’t all go to Spain this summer – but on Saturday June 25th Spain comes to Deansgate in the form of an Open Day at the little part of the city that is always Spanish: Deansgate’s Instituto Cervantes.

With free wine, tapas, flamenco, and salsa, plus the opportunity to win valuable prizes; a Hispanic day out to remember is guaranteed.

“Spain is the UK’s favourite holiday destination and, at Instituto Cervantes, we aim to make visits so much more memorable than just reviewing holiday photographs” explains Pedro Jesús Eusebio Cuesta,  Director of Instituto Cervantes Manchester. “We not only teach the language – in ten weeks we can teach you enough Spanish to enjoy conversations with the locals as well as book restaurants, hotels, and go shopping – but we give you an insight into the real Spain with traditions, customs, food, and drink.”

To help Mancunians get involved, every guest will get 10% off all language courses. Instituto Cervantes will also offer all sorts of workshops, games and activities to keep the youngsters entertained. There will be prizes of free Spanish lessons, dance courses and tickets for a Flamenco Concert the next evening. It’s going to be a great party, and best of all, it is free!

The Spanish Open day takes place at Instituto Cervantes, 326-330 Deansgate, Campfield Avenue Arcade, M3 4FN.

Tastings of food, drink, and classes are happening throughout the day from 11.30 am on Saturday 25th June
