A new Pilates studio with a difference is launching on Chapel Street in Salford, only a five minute walk from Spinningfields.

The studio will focus on high-intensity Pilates-inspired workouts headed up by founder Becky Barrett. It will feature eight reformer+ beds, which are the first of their kind in Manchester. They are larger and have more resistance options, offering users a more varied workout with increased intensity.

The lighting will be low with a signature green hue. Green has been scientifically proven to stimulate endorphins for increased energy, and it is thought to help lower the pain threshold, which means people will feel more mentally and physically prepared to work harder.

The immersive style of the class, with headphones and big beats, is being used to cross the gap between a high intensity workout class and the non-impact strength-building benefits of a Pilates-inspired workout.  RE:SCULPT will offer classes for all abilities, and for all levels with six classes operating daily and the studio being open seven days a week.

Classes will begin at 7am and run through to 7:30pm Monday-Friday and between 8am-12:30pm Saturday and Sunday.

Becky Barrett, owner of RE:SCULPT said: “I am so excited to be launching our first studio in Manchester. I wanted to bring reformer Pilates to Manchester but with a difference. Everybody should be able to participate in an intense, dynamic workout that leaves you sweaty and makes you feel amazing, whatever your current fitness levels and physical capabilities. RE:SCULPT is offering a much-needed alternative style of boutique workout.

“I fell in love with Manchester when I trained here at ballet school in the late 90s. The energy of the city and the obvious passion for fitness, (nearly everyone walks around in leisure wear!), made it the number one city of choice to launch my first RE:SCULPT studio in. There’s a need and demand for a new and exciting fitness style and it’s been great to build my business in a growing city that welcomes innovation.”

The studio will open its doors on 17th April with an introductory offer of three classes for £45 to be used within 30 days and two weeks unlimited classes for £96. These can be purchased via the website. RE:SCULPT will also offer discounts for students and a Blue Light Discount.

It will be the first RE:SCULPT studio with plans to grow across the UK.
