Seafood lovers in the city can mark National Oyster Day (Tuesday 5th August) with a special offer available at Refuge for one day only.
As part of the new summer menu at Refuge curated by Chefs, Cameron Tetlow and Paul Beckley, guests can enjoy Colchester Oysters served with a beautiful, late season rhubarb granita.
The oysters have an earthy flavour, salty at first but with a creamy, savory, truffle like finish – then the granita adds a little sweet zing.
