The RMT has taken the decision to suspend all industrial action on Network Rail following receipt of a new offer from the employer.

Strike action was due to take place from 2am on 16 March, the 18th March, the 30th March and 1st April with a ban on overtime – which can be disruptive for maintenance works – had been due to follow.

The union said that there is to be a referendum of members on the latest Network Rail offer.
