A man has been jailed for 28 months following a series of burglaries in the Manchester area, which saw everything from a TV to food taken during several incidents.
Adrian Berki aged 25, of no fixed abode, earlier pleaded guilty to nine burglaries, with a further matter of burglary taken into consideration, and which which occurred across Manchester between 23 and 30 October last year
The burglaries happened during different times of the day – often during the early hours of the morning but occasionally in the afternoon.
Often victims would notice that their shed had been opened, or that items had been moved in their homes.
Various items were taken during the burglaries: a pressure washer, a mobile phone, a TV, meat from a freezer, a hoover, bank cards, and two electric bicycles.
On the occasion he stole the two bikes – worth a total of around £1,500 – he additionally smashed two CCTV cameras with a brick.
