Manchester’s entertainment venue, Printworks, is set to reopen its doors on the 4th July and has outlined the new health and safety measures that will be in place.

To ensure the safety of visitors and staff, the new procedures, which are in line with government guidelines, include the introduction of a one way system and two metre social distancing throughout the street area of Printworks.

Regular cleaning and disinfection of public areas will take place as a preventative measure, and visitors will have access to hand sanitiser stations within Printworks and its individual venues.

Popular venues including Hard Rock Cafe, Yates and O’Neills have confirmed they will be back open for visitors on the 4th July.

All venues will be operating at reduced capacity to ensure all guidelines can be followed safely. Printworks is asking visitors to bear this in mind ahead of their visit, with the potential for queuing times, as well as asking for customers to consider paying by card or contactless wherever possible.

Nandos is currently open for takeout, with Wasabi Sushi reopening for deliveries on the 1st July. Convenience store Meena is also open for business.

The full list of venues that will reopen on the 4th July include Hard Rock Cafe Manchester, Meena, Nandos (delivery / takeout-only), O’Neills, Walkabout, Wasabi Sushi (takeaway-only), Wetherspoons Seven Stars, and Yates.

Vue Cinema has announced a later reopening date, with Eden and Treetop Adventure Golf set to be confirmed for a later date.

“The health and safety of our visitors is of the utmost importance to Printworks and its venues. We have implemented new health and safety procedures in line with government guidance and ask for cooperation from our visitors to ensure these are adhered to.

It has been a difficult few months for everyone, but we’re looking forward to welcoming visitors again, who may be reuniting with loved ones, or playing catch up to celebrate those missed occasions! We can’t wait to see you all again”
