This 5th November, Printworks will celebrate its 25th anniversary with a free Bonfire Night, featuring a dazzling digital fireworks, family story time sessions hosted by a well-known Radio and TV star and live entertainment for all ages.

Families are invited to join the festivities from 5pm, beginning with a sensory-friendly story time session hosted by Radio and TV Presenter Katie Thistleton (from Radio 1 and formerly CBBC). Each child will receive light-up headphones to enjoy the session in a dedicated chill-out zone.

Following the story time, a sensory friendly firework display will light up Printworks’ award-winning digital ceiling, replacing traditional bangs and crackles with fibre optic wands and dazzling visual effects. At 5:45pm, Katie will host a second interactive story time for all families, bringing tales to life with a calming soundtrack.

The evening’s main event begins at 6.15pm with a spectacular musical firework display on Printworks’ iconic digital ceiling, followed by live entertainment and DJ sets until 8pm. Visitors can enjoy archive images celebrating Printworks’ 25-year history, offering a nostalgic trip down memory lane for long-time visitors.

Kristian Brennan, Marketing Manager at Printworks, said: “Last year’s Bonfire Night was a huge hit with families, and we’re thrilled to bring it back even bigger and brighter for our 25th anniversary. Printworks is where Manchester comes to celebrate. From dazzling digital fireworks to our sensory-friendly story time, there’s something magical for everyone to enjoy.”
