Plans have been submitted to transform a long-vacant brownfield site in Eccles into a vibrant, sustainable community.
One Albert Street aims to bring 124 brand-new homes to Eccles town centre, including a mix of one-, two-, and three-bedroom apartments and townhouses with private gardens.
The plans by CERT include landscaped green space, 120 cycle storage spaces, and improved public routes to support walkability and safety.
The design incorporates elements like arched doorways and bay windows to create a welcoming environment.
This developer has previously been granted planning permission for a 25-storey residential building, comprising 256 dwellings back in January 2024, but these were revised witj the developer saying that the new plans represented a more modest and locally sympathetic alternative.
