All-day dining South American concept, Peru Perdu at The Cotton Factory, has announced it will host a series of online ceviche masterclasses and isolation parties with a virtual DJ, for guests to enjoy from the comfort and safety of their own homes.

Following on from the success of its ceviche masterclasses hosted earlier in the year, Peru Perdu will switch these to a virtual format with ingredients supplied by the venue, seeing guests tune in via Instagram Live to gain a unique insight into the mechanics & flavourings of Peru’s most famous dish – Ceviche.

A chef will talk viewers through the history of the dish, preparation, flavouring and the most truly exceptional ceviche recipes that will be sure to impress all.

Those wishing to join along at home can purchase the ceviche masterclass box available on EventBrite, containing three ceviches to prepare and a bottle of Torrontes worth £30.

The box costs £50 and includes home delivery.

The virtual ceviche masterclass will take place each Wednesday at 19:00 via Instagram Live on the Peru Perdu Instagram account @peruperdu_mcr for the next five weeks.

On Saturday 28th, Peru Perdu will also host an Instagram Live virtual party. Here Austen and Scott Smart from FutureDJs will provide the soundtrack to the evening, whilst Peru Perdu’s expert chef prepares a host of Peruvian delights for them to enjoy.

The virtual party will begin at 19:00 on the Peru Perdu Instagram.

Peru Perdu has taken over The Cotton Factory residency restaurant with a unique all-day dining menu catering for a variety of dietary requirements, full of fresh food and flavours made with seasonal produce, there is a carefully thought out selection of large and small plates. The highlight of the all-day dining menu, the famous grass-fed U.W.A. steak and a choice of homemade sauce.

Small plates include picanha & turtle bean rolls, duck ‘ropa vieja’ tostadas, and crispy coconut shrimp; large plates range from braised duck leg, pork belly with adobo chilli, and pollo ‘La Brasa’ with sweet potato and mint. Fresh fish plays a prominent part on the menu, with fresh cod, tuna, and red prawns all featuring as large cooked on the open fire and served with fresh, zesty dressings.

There is a selection of Planta, plant-based small and large plates, including fresh green papaya salad, steamed black bean dumplings, sweet yam coconut curry, and beetroot & apple ceviche. There will also be a daily selection of quinoa bowls, paired with roasted vegetables and fresh leaves.
