One of the Northern Quarter’s true staples, Wilson’s Social, has had a major revamp – and is relaunching, dropping the ‘Social’ and now going by ‘Wilson’s’.
Still a go-to spot on Oldham Street, the much-loved bar & food spot has been revitalised by its new owners, SmartRental Group – the brand behind some of Europe’s coolest bars and boutique stays, now bringing its UK debut in Manchester.

To celebrate its new lease of life, Wilson’s is inviting Mancs to join the party with a giveaway that nods to its namesake. On Sunday 23rd November, the morning after The Haçienda at The Warehouse Project, anyone who turns up before noon with a WHP ticket can bag themselves a free Full English Breakfast* and a pint – the ultimate morning-after cure.
The bar has kept its name as an homage to local legend Tony Wilson, the iconic Manchester music and media figure who co-founded Factory Records and The Haçienda. Its refreshed interiors feature new plush leather booths and bright, contemporary décor, making for a space that’s just as perfect for meetings over coffee as it is for big, boozy nights out in the NQ.
The 200-capacity venue now hosts a packed weekly events lineup, including Quiz Night every Wednesday, Live Music every Thursday, and DJ sets every Friday and Saturday to kick off the weekend.
The new menu at Wilson’s features an all-day breakfast and brunch (available from 8am-4pm), with favourites including a Full English, Full Veggie, and Full Vegan, alongside the Pork Belly Bacon Benedict and Brioche French Toast topped with mascarpone, fresh fruit, maple syrup and Biscoff crumble.
From midday, the menu introduces a range of small plates perfect for sharing or lighter bites, including Crispy Cod Tacos with kimchi and lime mayo, Halloumi Fries with tomato relish and chili, and Grilled Peach Burrata Salad with beetroot coulis and pesto oil. For bigger appetites, large plates include Wilson’s Smashburger with bacon, cheddar and house sauce, a hearty Bourbon-Glazed Pork Chop with mash and asparagus, and Stilton, Rocket & Chimichurri Steak served on sourdough toast.
The bar menu has been refreshed, too: on draught, highlights include locally brewed Manchester Union Lager, Beavertown Neck Oil, and Camden Stout. The cocktail list blends classics with inventive house creations, including the signature Capri Wil-Sun, a refreshing mix with Absolut Citron, Archers Peach, and tropical flavours, alongside favourites like Margaritas, Espresso Martinis, and Pina Coladas. There’s also a curated selection of wine, as well as coffees and teas.
The relaunch comes courtesy of SmartRental Group, one of Europe’s leading real estate, hospitality and lifestyle operators making its UK debut in Manchester. Known for creating bold, experience-driven spaces across Europe, the group has brought its expertise to Wilson’s, helping the venue retain its Manc identity while stepping into a new era.

The free breakfast and pint giveaway will take place from 8am – 12pm on Sunday 23 November, while stocks last. Guests can choose from a Full English, Full Veggie, or Full Vegan breakfast, each served with a draught pint of choice, making it the perfect morning-after pick-me-up for Haçienda party-goers.
